post-Civil War (1865-1910) period when settlers were moving
westward. Think Little House on the Prairie.

STEAMPUNK

Not a real historic period, but a fanciful
interpretation that mixes Victorian fashion with intricate
machinery and science. Think Wild, Wild West or The League of
Extraordinary Gentlemen.

VICTORIAN

Generally accepted as 1837-1901. Though roughly the
same period as the Western, Victorian clothing was the fashion in
the UK and in cities in the eastern US. High collared dresses for
women, ascots and dickies, etc. Think My Fair Ladyor Pride and
Prejudice.

WILD_WILD_WEST

Traditional “Wild_West” garb seen in most Western movies.
